When it comes to elevating Canadian golf, Foresight Sports Canada is right at the heart of the action. From training champions on the Canadian National

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Foresight Sports for the existence and expansion of its Operation ForeVets program which allows veterans and serving members of the military to obtain discounts on launch monitors from Foresight Sports. This includes the GC3, which I have in my garage now and have built a golf simulator around. This program has made the best launch monitors available much more accessible for veterans and active service members. I was injured in 2012, and have dealt with ongoing chronic pain, and mental health issues since then which in turn caused me to give up a lot of sports and activities, I’d enjoyed prior. Having this in the comfort of my home allows me to enjoy a sport that I had given up whenever I’m feeling able. I hope to see this program grow and help many more military members in the future.

I am Lt(N) Jason MacIsaac of the Royal Canadian Navy, and golf has always been a big part of my life. As a teenager and young adult, I’d spend full days at the course between school and work. It became a major stress reliever, improving my mental health. It also gave me a chance to spend quality time with my father; we still make it a point to play together whenever we visit each other.
As I got settled in the CAF and started a family, the time I could dedicate to golf gradually dropped off. I’d manage to play five or six times a year and hit the range on the rare days I had some free time.
Last year, I decided to invest in a home golf simulator to practice more consistently and work toward my goal of earning becoming a CPGA Class A Member. While researching, I came across Operation Forvets by Foresight Canada, which offers serving and retired CAF members a discount on the GC3 and GCQuad launch monitors.
After quickly submitting the paperwork, I received a GC3 that tracks ball and club data, perfect for my home setup, where a doppler radar system wouldn’t work due to space limitations.
Since then, my game has improved significantly. I can diagnose swing issues and fix them without needing a coach. The GC3 also helps with speed training in the offseason. Most importantly, it lets me spend more time with my family during the day while focusing on golf in the evenings or early mornings.
I’m incredibly grateful to Foresight Canada for supporting Service Members and veterans.
